The National Black Doll Museum of History & Culture, one of the region’s most respected grassroots organizations highlighting African American and multicultural history, is preparing to host the first-ever celebration of the town of Mansfield’s rich abolitionist history.
ABOLITION DAY, a free, family-friendly outdoor festival will take place on Monday October 9, 2017 on the South Commons in Mansfield. This community event is being supported by the business community, local government officials, community organizations and citizens throughout the region.
On, Monday, October, 9th, ABOLITION DAY will bring a host of fun, exciting, and one-of-a-kind events to the South Common:
