Broadening perspectives: understanding how different generations approach business in 2025… and beyond
We look forward to a very special “meeting of the minds” between Tri Town’s Emerging Leaders group and members of Business Builders I, the Chamber’s first peer networking group which was founded over 15 years ago.
The objective of this session is to help the Business Builder group, which consists mostly of “veteran” business leaders, better understand how younger generations find, choose, and work with service providers. We realize that our wealth of business experience provides some competitive advantages, but if we are not easy to find or, if our messaging isn’t in line with what today’s market is looking for, we run the risk of being invisible or seen as old-fashioned.
We hope that this is not a one-time, one-sided collaboration as we think that our perspectives on how later stage professionals view people and work can add value to those who are still striving to achieve full potential. We would value the opportunity to set up another session down the road to focus solely on questions or concerns that younger professional may have that we might be able to add insights on.
For the November session we are hoping to get Emerging Leaders thoughts on these questions:
How can businesses led by older people find and appeal to a younger clientele?
