Emerging Leaders Forum "Dynamic Communication"
DYNAMIC COMMUNICATIONWhen we look into the world, into our organizations, and into our lives we may see and even consider communication as an event or series of events. We may see and hear a speaker delivering a keynote address, a supervisor conducting a performance appraisal with subordinate, or a spouse telling their partner something important. We may see and hear communication events, and they may come and go. But we also feel communication
We feel the energy of the message and are impacted temporarily or permanently by it’s energy. Our energy may or may not shift as a result of communication – we may be inspired to take action, become deflated and retreat, or we may stay where we are and continue our existing path.
Conversations take place at all levels of energy. Each paragraph, each sentence, and each word, depending upon how it is said, as well as everything that is not said out loud, will impact the leaders to complete a task, mission or journey. The energy behind your message and the core thoughts which drive what you say are felt by the participant.
In this workshop Karen will introduce participants to the 7 Levels of Energy and their impact on our communication, the 3 Levels of Listening and share insight on tips and tools for building rapport, getting Buy-In and public speaking.
The Tri-Town Emerging Leaders Group provides an environment for building quality business relationships with like-minded professionals. Enabling young professionals to leverage their expertise, as well as the expertise of other members of the group to solve common business problems and build new partnerships.
