Part-Time Tutor

Tutor Doctor Mansfield, Easton & West Brockton is a locally owned and operated tutoring service serving K–12 students, college students, and adult learners across Mansfield, Easton, West Brockton, and surrounding communities. We match students with the right tutor based on their unique learning style, goals, and schedule. We're growing our tutor network to meet increasing demand.

Sessions take place in students' homes, with scheduling built around both the student's and tutor's availability. After-school hours tend to be most in demand.

What you'll do

• Deliver personalized 1:1 tutoring sessions in your subject area(s), in-home
• Assess each student's needs and adapt your teaching approach accordingly
• Help students build foundational skills, tackle homework, prepare for exams, and boost confidence
• Provide test prep support for SAT, ACT, MCAS, AP exams, or other standardized tests as needed
• Maintain brief session notes and communicate student progress to our team
• Represent Tutor Doctor professionally

Subjects we're looking for

• Math (elementary through calculus, statistics)
• English / ELA / reading & writing
• Science (biology, chemistry, physics, earth science)
• Foreign languages (Spanish, French, etc.)
• Test prep: SAT, ACT, MCAS, AP, GED, SSAT
• Study skills, executive function, and organization
• Special education support / IEP goal alignment

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed (education, subject area, or related field preferred)
• Prior tutoring, teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed
• Reliable transportation to and from sessions
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check
• Massachusetts educator license, teaching experience, or subject-area expertise is a plus

Compensation & benefits

• $22–$29/hour, based on experience and subject expertise
